i ended up getting the cheaper model 2500BT. the reason was i was reading the LCD tends to get washed out in the fit due to the position on the dash. the 2500BT has bigger buttons on the side. it's kinda high up and the windows are huge on the car. and for nav, i thought about it long, but since ive been doing okay with GoogleNav, i decided to pass on it and use the $350 i saved on my dahon (coming up later this month :p)

I am trading-in the Z for a Prius TRD...

It's more practical, better fuel economy, and a god potential on modding it. I did some research on the TRD and they actually have a turbo kit for the electric motor which can add another 50whp, TRD 1.5amp charging module can shorter the charging time for 85%.

That means within the distance from my house to wal-mart, I can have the batt fully charged...!!!

And the best part is... they do have a TRD upgrade package... but it's not that Toyota Racing Development you are thinking...

Basically it comes with a TRD sticker, and the system will actually bounce-off the taffyapples' vehicle into the ditch if they are within 5ft from your Prius...!!!!

Man... the package is just too attractive and I am falling in it...
