The owner is already dodging my calls and texts so I was worried he would try to keep the lip since I tried to open a claim against him for previous work. My paint isn't cured yet so I can't do what I want anyway. This wrap job looks like ****. I'll post pics later but now I'm on the fence as to which way to go for it.

Also, received my Nissan fan pack this afternoon.

Well the lights got fixed and resolved. I asked him to quote the lip and test a piece to see if the wrap would adhere well. I'm scheduled to get it all done next Friday if my paint cures a bit more, but I will be hanging out there all day to keep an eye on things.

Oh, and y0.

He was cool with it before or after you filed a claim against the shop? As soon as you file a claim, I would stay away from the shop. I'm also wondering if by shopping around for the absolute lowest price, maybe you are getting what you pay for :ugh2: Call Colvin Automotive and ask who they use to wrap if they don't do it themselves. You might have paid more in the beginning, but I guarantee you wouldn't have any problems after it was done. If you have any qualms about the quality of the workmanship they just fix it, no questions asked. Their reputation is worth way more than a couple of hours of lost labor and/or materials.

Your car; you get to be as picky as you want

So there is pollen everywhere - should I bother to wash the car (she really needs it)? I came home early to take care of some things before my wife leaves town tomorrow for the rest of the week, so I've got some time and the weather is nice and sunny...
