Yeah, my wife would be one of them. I think it would be cool for a short while and then suck. It's so expensive there and every time you have to go somewhere it's a bit of a haul distance-wise. I talked to someone who lived in Hawaai for a few years and be hated it.

Good morning everyone! :hello:

I have lots of bits and pieces in my Z right now. Leaving work early to go see the Body Werks for an estimate to have em painted and hung. :)

As much as I enjoy sleeping in, I actually like getting up early morning when there's no rush to get anything accomplished. I took an early shower, read for a bit, and then perused the forums before coming into work a couple hours early

We bought the most expensive TempurPedic that's not adjustable (~$5K). It's by far the best mattress I've ever owned, but for helping my back it's mediocre at best. My inversion table does much better, but even that is only temporary relief :ugh2:

I'm so jealous. I'm currently waiting on other people to do what they do and its driving me up the wall... One step forward, two steps back...

Says the guy who just put a turbo in his Z :icon17:

I know, I know, you still have a long way to go. Regardless of the wait, I hope everything comes out perfect for you

We need a good mattress. For my back, ice, my Tens machine and monthly visits to my Chiropractor does wonders. I'll also hang from my squat rack almost daily.

I think it really depends on what your expectations are.
If you're expecting to live the same life you live here on the mainland, then yes, you're going to hate Hawaii and find it very expensive.

If I make that move, I'll be downsizing and minimizing. I'll be there for the island and nothing else.

:icon18: I have little faith that people will live up to their word. The painter has already missed his own deadline, I have doubts he'll meet the next deadline. I would rather he be up front with me and say I don't have time, or I'm not comfortable working on your stuff (if thats the case) so I can move on.

Perfect won't happen, and I don't expect it to. If I can fulfill my expectations, I'll be satisfied.

As for the Mini... We are are currently testing patience and listening. I test his ability to listen and he tests my patience.

LunaZ 03-29-2013 09:07 AM

Gonna give my Z a bath today. I might roll down to NOVA to hang out with the MAZOC guys tomorrow morning.

blackcherry20 03-29-2013 09:12 AM

:ugh2:we have a calico cat-mouser. Not too friendly but we've had her for a long time.

Her life may be at risk.

Muddy paw prints with scratches all down the front of the Z hood and nose.

Is it wrong to consider shortening your own cats life and is it worth it since she has kept us rodent free for years.

F bomb.

See I find they still won't meet expectations, so here's what I do: expect perfect and expect that you won't be satisfied, thus you are satisfied :ugh2:
