Also going to watch NASCAR today. The Grand Am race yesterday at COTA was more than kewl. I think NASCAR needs to run a Chase race there.

same here, figured nothing else to do lol so why not lol.

I was hoping for more actual rain racing footage and non-crash drama in that video.
I'm always trying to tell NASCAR people that a rain race is one the reasons that Formula 1 is better, but that video just makes racing in the rain look foolhardy.

NASCAR should run road courses in the rain. Also should run on dirt. LOL 43 cars on the Syracuse mile would be a race. :driving:

Running in the rain shows how much car control they have. Shows who the real drivers are.

Generally, a rain race brings out the best (or worst) in a driver and their car.
Traction is pushed to the limit, and pit and tyre strategies become more important. Especially at a large track like Spa-Francorchamps where it may be dry on one end of the track, but raining at the other.
The resulting drama makes for a lot of tense moments which make those races fun to watch.
