How to pluralize word's

Seriously. On this forum and facebook this is really getting to me. I guess I'm a grammar nazi, but I think we all learned this in like second grade.

You just use an "s"

There is no need for an apostrophe - unless the word is already pluralized and you want to make it possessive.

Haha I'm so happy I used an "and". That was a typo haha.

Being Canadian, from the colonies, I find the Queen's english being butchered on the internet all the time. I just bite my lip and carry on.

Queen's English.

I get not capitalizing words or leaving out a letter because you're lazy, but taking the extra time to add an apostrophe where one doesn't belong just indicates that people literally do not know how to punctuate properly.

I think it's "how to pluralize words"

In the United States, periods and commas always go inside the quotation marks. So far, you're the worst self-proclaimed Grammar Nazi ever.

Still, not as bad as the stupid apostrophes. I do know the period goes inside quotations, but it would just look stupid with it in there with only one word.

And to the person who corrected the title of the thread :tiphat: that was intentional.

Subliminal sarcasm, got it =)

I was just playing. I'm hardly the final word on grammar, pun intended.

That's because people in the USA do not use logic with regard to language or grammar. Therefore, a US English Grammar Nazi is a completely hypocritical existence.

Yes, I am one. I try not to let the interwebs get to me...

Examples of punctuation outside and inside quotation marks:
Did you read that book I gave you, "Frost's Mom"?
No, but I did read another book, "How Was Frost's Mom?"
