Just met the owner of EuroRev..
 

..what a d!ck.

So I am at my local gas station carwash and I see this sick a$$ M6 that I wouldn't mind seeing in my driveway and out pops this little chubby Asian dude with his kid. He walks over my direction as I'm eyeballing the ballers ride. The rest went something like this...

Me: "That's a nice M6 dude"
Chubby: Without even stopping as he walks right past me.. "Thanks" (barely audible)
Me: Thinking WTF? I notice the EuroRev decals on the windows etc. "Hey so, I just saw a couple of you EuroRev guys up at Supercar Sunday in Woodland Hills a couple weeks ago" Just trying at this point to talk shop... obviously dude man drives a nice car and I figure maybe he's into cars..
Chubby: Gives a blank stare..
Me: "Do you ever go up to SuperCar Sunday?"
Chubby: "Nah.. there's a lot of us.. I actually OWN EuroRev" Oh.. excuse me, I didn't know "owners" were exempt from being cool.
Me: Sensing that this dude obviously thinks his sh*t don't stink.. "So what is EuroRev?... is it a tuner shop?"
Chubby: Barely looking up from his iPhone to even acknowledge someone that just payed him a compliment on his ride.. AND wants to talk about HIS biz.:shakes head:"Yeah it's a tuner shop we only cater to high end.. like basketball players and stuff"
Me: Oh really?... heh.. I was going to ask him if he knew the difference between a "tuner" and a "bling" shop... like having an engine builder or fabricator on hand as opposed to just stocking HRE wheels with no clue as to what the F a "reflash" is. "Oh I see... so it's like GAS?" (Galpin Auto Sports.. nothing but a bling shop)
Chubby: "Yeah"

At this point I just walked away. Clearly this "owner" of an aftermarket car place WASN'T the least bit into cars or possibly getting new business from a potential customer (me). Oh well. If I ever have need to add some HRE's onto a high end vehicle, I will be calling one person...

Don't be too harsh - he'd obviously had the kid dumped on him and his credit card was in the wife's handbag. How would YOU feel?

Last week I met a really cool Lamborghini LP640 owner at NJ Motorsports Park. He was really cool and friendly which is usually not the case. Some of the jersey guys here that owns lambo and ferrari, you can't even get close to them. They will not talk to you! :rolleyes:

On topic, as an owner of a tuner shop, I think his attitude was unacceptable.
