You can still do it luna. You don't even need to take the wheels off.

That's what garages are for, but unfortunately yours doesn't get to sit in one does it Eric?

Yes. I received a set myself. Some people were having fitment issues. The hood would bulge slightly after install. I have not installed mine to confirm this.

Yeah mine bulged quite a bit, especially the driver's side, and they started leaving marks on the plastic battery and brake master covers. Gale, let us know how yours are when you install them.

Consider yourself lucky. I wonder how it's inconsistent like that. Are our hoods aligned differently I wonder?

No issues here, nor with the five or six friends I know who have installed them. Good point about a possible alignment issue.

That's very strange... I have the opposite, 3 others in Chicago all had the same issue. maybe it's the climate.

Yeah, it would have to be. I mean, it's not like Z1 is manufacturing each set of struts differently, right? It has to be hood alignment. :(

:tiphat: so I will wait until we have warm weather in Chicago to make final judgement. If the bulge doesn't go away, the hoods struts will be coming off

Very strange. Mine fit perfectly. I would think the only way the hood bulges is if the forward strut bolts aren't fully set/sunk. The hood is bolted in the back and has a lock in the front.

Yeah, but JAR is in Austin which has a similar climate to Houston.
