Actually I was awaken by a txt message at 1pm....

Mr.Ire texted me about his Z is having problem on starting this morning after he left for a week...

Took him 5 tries until the engine started.... It's not that cold and it shouldn't be the battery....

Told him aware of the Steering Lock issue since his is a 2010.

Hope he will look into that.. cos I mention that possibility at the beginning he was like "it's fine now..."

I was :icon14: :icon14:

I thought: "That's why I ask you aware of it cos it could happen the next time even it starts no problem this time."

Explained more details to him via texts I hope he will really look into it and remove the fuse or whatever.... cos I don't want to see him texting me one day saying "the car won't start at all and it has the key display........"

Seems he doesn't know anything about the steering lock issue... mmm..... how couldn't he knows the issue.....

Hi Mr.alcheng :hello:

Ok, I need your guys' honest opinion.

Most of you know that I bought wheels, and I'm trying to sell them to get the wheels I really want. The 5:AD wheels that I bought go for about $1850-$2000 for the size and offsets I got. I paid $550+about $150 for shipping. Good deal, right?

So heres my question: am I being a completely unreasonable assh0le for asking $1300 total for the wheels, shipping and PayPal included?

I would have thought that roughly 30% off of brand new, NICE wheels with free shipping and PayPal fees would have been a pretty good deal, especially when that is the price you pay for most cheaper quality wheels.

But people are pm'ing me like I'm a **** for asking for that much. I'm like, well my uncle just gave me a Rolex for Christmas, does that mean I'm obligated to give it to you for free now just cause you want it? They should have jumped on the deal when the wheels were $550 FFS.

FVCKING GRRRRRRR.

It's a hard sell when everyone knows what you got them for. You should have sat on them for a bit and then posted them up when everyone forgot what a deal they missed.

I'd say join Nicoclub or my350z and pitch them there. Or just craigslist em. :o

Thanks brother.. dude, ask Triple to edit your FS thread, he'll do it for you.

Huck 12-26-2012 03:13 PM

Yeah I've got them on Craigslist and I've gotten a few ******** offers for them ("hey, I've got some 17" TSW's that were in an accident, would you trade straight up?") so I'll probably make a profile in the 350 site and list them there. I've also got them up on my Audi forum an on an Orlando forum as well...

I was just wondering if I'm being unreasonable and don't realize it. Am I?

Yeah, I knew you got a great deal on those things, but I don't blame you for selling them at their value. You're not being an arse..you're just turning over a great product at a discounted price.

I recall that I bought an exhaust/intake combo for a sick price, and when I went to piece them out individually for sale, one member called me out on it..but whatevers. If the product is quality and the demand is there..it doesn't matter. Someone will buy it.

Just my $.02 worth.

Alright folks, I'm gonna order the calendar now.

Total of 25 copies, including 1 copy for myself.

Here is an image of the invoice:

http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...4&d=1356560837

I paid that with my paypal account already.

The cost for each calendar is CAD$9.74 + about CAD$2.50 postage, some of you have order more than one copy thus I will calculate the total for each individual after I mail everything.

I will receive the calendar on the 2nd or 3rd of Jan. And I will ship them out right away!!!

I feel a little bad because if we place the order before Christmas we can save about $1 to $1.50 per calendar.

But the price CAD$9.74 is still much cheaper than at the beginning ($14.99 - $18.99)

Yes... I am excited... :happydance::happydance:

m4a1mustang 12-26-2012 04:24 PM

Huck,

You got a good deal on your wheels. You were smart. Don't let anyone guilt you into selling it lower because your cost was so low.

yah, when i got done, i got worried that i filled up too tightly that it would not dump out when the recycle truck comes around, so i had to partially take out some of the boxes and put them in the trash bin.

didnt feel like remembering to do it next week. :icon17:

It's TOTALLY irrelevant as to what you paid for the wheels. They are worth what someone wants to pay for them.

If some douche wants to blab what you paid for them, f#ck 'em, refuse to even accept an offer from him.

Your best bet is probably a local sale through Craigs List anyway. I unloaded a set of G37 wheels that way. It may take a little time, but it will be worth it.

Patience young Jedi, patience.
