:hello: morning everyone! Hopefully it will be a slow day today, I'm tired and I don't feel like doing a damn thing.

So I had some fun yesterday here at work. The short version of the sorry goes like this. Rack room shoes calls and says their back room just flooded, water gushed out of the floor drain in their bathroom. It's like 10-15 gallons of water. I go check it out, and end up telling them to call a plumber (mall maintenance only handles small plumbing issues). We deduce that the sewer line is clogged up, but it's not their fault, but there's no other stores on their sewer line, so why did it clog and where did all that water suddenly come from? We find out that next door is housekeeping's old storage room, and they still use the washer and dryer in there to wash their mop heads. So we're trying to find the clean out for the sewer line, there are two bathrooms in this old room that are locked up, we can't get them open so we call security to bring his keys over, he finally finds the right key, opens up the door and turns the light on. This is what we see.

Attachment 60578

The floor is covered with poo water and the walls have black mold. The other one looked almost as bad as this one. Hopefully they are going to tear them both out, there's no saving these bathrooms now.

Oh, and we fixed the drain :excited:

Good morning all! :hello:

......It was the best of times, it was the worst of times............

Best - dropped off my wheels today at the wheel shop to be stripped and repainted. I'll get them back next Saturday.

Worst - while swapping rims last night, one of the lugs stripped and is spinning in the hub. The shop that did my brake swap used an air gun to tighten my lug nuts, and in the process rounded at least half of them off and way over-torqued them. One lug nut was cross-threaded and screwed-up the stud. :ugh2:

I didn't realize it until I tried to tighten the lug nut and it just began to spin. Of course, it's a locking lug, but it's just barely on. I'm going to try and get in at the dealer this afternoon to get it removed and replaced.

At this point, I realize I should go back to the shop that screwed-up everything, but I don't want them touching my car. Lesson learned.

Have a good weekend everybody. :tiphat:

Sorry to hear :shakes head: Why do they need to touch your car to give you a new set of lug nuts? I would first call them up and either have them pay for a set for you to pick up at their shop or maybe a dealer or just give you cash for the cost to replace.

If they ask you to bring one in to inspect, you can provide it to them by hurling it through one of the windows at their shop :stirthepot:

Lug nuts aren't the problem; a friend gave me a bag of extra ones he had. It's the stud that is spinning in the hub now that is the problem.
