I have blue, black, red, and green in my desk at work  Though I like using the 0.5 because I write small and it's easier to cram notes onto a set of plans with the finer tip, I feel like the 0.7 are more reliable and consistent with their ink delivery.

It's ok, it's just a pen Ms. BC :icon17: I just send myself to the office supply store with the company credit card when I need more... then again, I don't have any co-workers to steal them from me :)

hi mr.alcheng! hey, i had an online buddy in canada that took a pict of his thermometer at -50C  holy frikken ice cow! :eekdance:

he said he can throw a bucket of water outside and it would turn into snow before it it the ground. :rofl2:

hi mr.gale- im talking about the valve that's on the large hose (top side of engine bay). after you drain the cold coolant out, i remove this valve on the hose so that when you pour new coolant into the radiaor, the air bleeds out to eliminate airbubbles. (might be called bleeder valve? not sure the terminology). :) haven't taken a close look on the Z, but i think it should be near the firewall.

Ahh, I see. yes, I recall seeing something like that near the firewall, passenger side. I would have to have another look to verify 100% that is for bleeding air out of the cooling system.

It's on the back side of the radiator right by the driver side stock intake filter housing. At least that's what I'm thinking here

I think the one up by the firewall is for the heating system maybe? I thought I saw something like that...

When they tried to sell me a flush at 30K miles for fluid that's supposed to be good for 105K, I just laughed. But when I mentioned doing it myself, and they told me I couldn't... well, that just irritated me :shakes head:

I just looked over the exploded diagram (attached in an earlier post of mine) and there doesn't appear to be anything special required.

Here's a video for changing rad hoses, they drain and re-fill the coolant...
