the yok's arent bad, actually. they're marginally better than the RE050A's and getter grip in cooler temps. the biggest benefit is they are light weight (like conti dw's) and looks great.

since they are 10.5 on the rear, 285/35/19 looks great. im running 275/35/19 on my 10.5" WEDS and the sidewall has stretch. still looks good, but 285/35 will look better. :yum:

Honestly, I think the RE050's are expensive garbage :ugh2: I went to Nitto Invo rears in 285/30/19 after my wife got less than 10K miles on the stockers doing primarily highway driving :icon14: In comparison, I drive the Invos much harder and got more than twice the mileage. Plus, they perform equally or better in dry weather, and they perform phenomenally better in wet weather. Got 30K out of the RE050 fronts, so that's not bad. I just replaced all four last month with new Invos and went up to 255 width in the fronts to match the size up in the rears I had already done.

I agree, I'm all about the budget. But I at least have to build my system myself. No all-in-one packaged systems for me. Really happy with my Sony receiver and Polk front speakers and center channel (though cheap Sony sub sucks my left nut).

I know I'm probably gonna get flamed to death for saying this, but I'm a Bose fan. I got an awesome Craigslist deal one my home theater set when a guy got caught cheating on his wife. She sold all his stuff, and I got the whole set of speakers, sub, and receiver for $250. My wife also got me a 2.1 Bose system for the computer and they sound amazing. My only complaint is that at super high levels it will drop the bass and distort the sound some, the built in amp can only do so much.

I have Klipsch Image S4 headphones that I use for in-ear monitors when I play at church. They sound just as good as the leader's $450 Shure IEMs, and I paid $35 on amazon for an open box deal.

A friend was bragging about his $300 Beat headphones one day and said they sounded better than anything on the market. I laughed a lot and then let him listen to my $35 Klipschs and smiled as his face got sad.

For home if I want to play video games or just keep it down at night I have Turtle Beach PX5 wireless headphones. Dual Bluetooth and 7.1 surround sound makes me happy :)

I cannot complain about Bose sound... I will say I think Bose gear is overpriced, but that's not to say there isn't other overpriced crap out there. Sounds like you got a fantastic deal, and anyone trying to flame you has no real argument and is just a troll
