Well, going through the thread, it looks as though Mr.kenchan used this DIY himself. So... I would say its kenchan approved

I used the service manual, but I read through pretty much every thread on the forum in my searching  though I still never figured out how to get the glove compartment door to pop off the hinges...

I rarely use the A/C or heat - windows down whenever possible

But I definitely plan to do it more often - it's pretty darn easy

Nope! That's pure JAR, aka the infamous JAR musk and sometimes referred to as Eau de JAR :tiphat:

It's six screws - pretty simple

ms.bc- yah, this time of year it's a pain when we get warm humid air. :ugh2: but at least you got to get a nice glimpse and a big :D

i mean, water is not going to hurt the car as long as there is ventilation. :)

In a non-tracked situation, where heat dissipation is not a concern, do cross-drilled/slotted rotors perform any better than OEM? One might make the argument that the reater surface area of the OEM rotor might provide better stopping power.

Next question: Can any of you tell me if they personally have (or know someone that has) cracked a rotor that was slotted/drilled? Those that have the Z1-proffered drilled/slotted rotors attest to their composition quality?

I'm just trying to make an educated decision on the mod.

Thanks for your input.

I bought mine for the looks. Unless you seriously track your car, any upgrade over the stock Sport brake set-up probably can't be justified on performance gain.

Show us what you got.

I have a good idea of what I want to do, modding the bumper is the easy part. I do need to find an exhaust guy to let me know if they can fit a muffler under the car and exit the centre.

For me it's easier to look and measure in real life. I'm not good enough at photoshopping to make it worth while.

Fire 01-29-2013 06:29 PM

Just did my taxes. I have about $2000 for parts to do mods this year. Not looking for increased hp mods this year. Well not alot anyways. Looking to buy a kit that uses the AC to cool the charge going into the supercharger. This does add hp but even better it cools the air making it more dense. When I do my big hp mods it will keep things cool.

I don't want a can hanging like the other single 3" exhaust systems I've seen. It needs to be tucked up nicely. The Body work is easy.

Looking to do a Porche style triangular center outlet?
