Which Car Company Would You Most Like To Work For?

Which car company would you most like to work for?

Keep in mind, this is not which car company you like best. Think about things like wages, relocating, union vs non-union, etc.

I know I am going to get a lot of "nissan because 370z" but remember, if you wanted to stay stateside, you would have to move to Tennessee or Mississippi. Thats only for manufacturing. If you wanted to design or engineer...

Looking forward to the answers

Print me a ticket for Bowling Green, KY, so I can assemble Corvettes and live in that beautiful college town.

Ooooh. good choice.

I would say Ford again, if it had to be manufacturing. Just not at my old plant in cleveland building those vans. If engineering is an option, I would say any Volkswagen Auto Group.

DEpointfive0 12-20-2012 12:53 PM

Pagani for me. Their attention to detail is right up my alley.

Ferrari do to their cars, facilities, benefits and pay.

UNKNOWN_370 12-20-2012 03:20 PM

Porsche...Definitely porsche.

phelan 12-20-2012 03:21 PM

Honda or Fisker. They're both local to me. I'm never leaving SoCal haha.

Oh...maybe Toyota. They're across the street from my current work!

Kingbaby 12-20-2012 04:39 PM

The speaker manufacturer? ;)

As for the original question:

Whoever pays the most. Seriously. Working for some exotic-car maker may be fun at first, but after a while it's just a job. It's not like they give all the employees in Sant'Agata Bolognese a new Lambo just for working there.

As far as volume manufacturers go, I'm in the same mindset as you. Show me the money.

At this stage of my life, I'm beyond the money and prestige. I like Pagaini's attention to detail and pride in workmanship, that (right now) is worth more to me than beaucoup bucks.

KERMIT 12-21-2012 04:19 PM

Audi. No question

Up and coming technology leader, massive investments in r&d, they have some of the worlds greatest minds working on their cars. And that means they are willing to pay for talent.

6MT 12-21-2012 04:19 PM

Skoda.

wait.... I don't think they exist anymore.

GaleForce 12-21-2012 04:47 PM

Skoda still exists, their cars aren't too bad either.

SPOHN 12-21-2012 08:04 PM

Any Japanese company. They take much pride in there work. Everything in the car serves a purpose.

marks370z 12-21-2012 10:08 PM
