Pretty crappy day so far...

So I got fired today. Kinda sucks. Boss wasn't open to working around my school schedule even though I was open to still working there. Blah. Anyone in the Atlanta area that knows a good place to work while I'm goin to school?

I never understood the whole school ordeal. So you take out these high balance loans to get so called educated and then hope you find a job in that field to pay that high debt off. Hmmmmmmm all stick to Google and my mouth piece. It’s not what you know it’s who you know.

Something will come your way. Keep your head up.

This might sound funny to you but if you can, get a job at chipotle. Restaurateur manager there makes 6figures

A store manager of In-N-Out Burger makes around $80,000-90,000 a year. The position also gets full benefits.

So you want people to give up school to work at a burger joint? Great advice.

homeryansta 12-06-2012 06:49 PM

I call ******** on managers at chipotle and other fast food burger joints making 6 figures. Maybe 30k, but not even close to 100k.

I didn't realize I've been doing it wrong all this time for going to school and actually landing a job that pays decent. Not 100k decent, but half of that.

rAiN 12-06-2012 11:00 PM

not a bad consideration, when you can elevate your position very quickly working part time. it was just one of the advice, dont have to go all out and make any assumption of school being dropped and ruining life. lol

That's pretty damn good for working at In N Out. Some people go to school and don't even get a job paying that much from their education.

People don't realize you are pretty much capped without a college education.

Bill Gates and Steve Jobs would probably beg to differ.

mom? haha just playing.
such a bold statement there. sure having a higher education could be the highway to your goal, its like paving a road for many possible destination but will it actually get you there in guaranteed manner?

Dzel 12-07-2012 06:48 AM

I have a college education, and I don't use it I'm 100% oil field trash and proud of it. I work around 60 hours a week and am in the 6 figures. If you want to make good money you have to go where the work is. I'm not breagging just relaying info. IMHO I do not believe a college education is of high priority unless it's some kind of computer or enginering degree. My own kids, I will push them to get a higher education but I will warn them that they need one in an area that there is a high demand for people in.
