He probably has curb-rash the rim before and some shop try to polish it. And that's the problem with chrome lip, it gets scratches easily and almost impossible to remove....

Eventually they did it in front of me, smoothed the area, polish the lip, but yes, there's scuff marks.

Yeah thanks for the info. The wheels he's selling are polished, not chrome. :)
