Still don't know. Cops never showed up. A few of the guys here went and followed the trail as well and say that it looks like it was maybe seeping out of the garbage pick up truck since there a few dark spots near a couple of dumpsters. They think it might not be blood after all. *shrug*

We started climbing the dangerously pointed fence we encountered, and soon a police office came over after and asked wtf we were doing. We told him honestly that we were trying to get onto the Capitol grounds, and he told us the grounds were open to the public and pointed to a gate about 100 feet away. Then he said, "but you boys really ought to be getting home". We happily obliged :tup:
