If you lowered it and gave it some wider wheels... ??

It makes me sad to see 40ths being OEM parted out in the classifieds. Do the kids not understand the exclusivity of it?

Nope.

Tracie, the LiquiMat stuff... Is that only for sound deadening of Internal sound, or can it be used to tone down External sounds/harmonics? Exhaust, road noise, etc.?

i doubt it tracie!, to calm my car blues however, i am watching Chasing Classic Cars on Velocity

Reduces vibration for internal sound and reduces the external noise that enters the cabin. We are getting a new butyl mat product in soon if interested. If not, I recommend at least our 80mil mat with liqui-damp x on top.

I'm just thinking of what can limit the amount of harmonic resonance that passes through from the exhaust. @ 2k rpms, everything vibrates lol I'm having to go through each spot one at a time and fix them, I'd rather just not have so much sound getting through. :icon17:

How about a spray/paint on coating for the Inside of the fender wells to keep road noise down, would the LiquiMat work there? I guess not since it's a light gray/brown color dried? :(

It would work there. The product can be sanded down and painted over.

You need to go the whole nine yards if you want quiet. Mat + layer of liquid + closed cell foam.

Not sure all that would fit in a fender well...? :(

Or in the trunk with a spare still in there right?

Not looking to make it dead quiet, just help lower the harmonic resonance a bit. :)

It's for the interior but cuts down on road and exhaust noise.

I did, I watched the video which made me both  and :icon17:

But needs better audio quality to really highlight the difference in sound.
