i just want to take a moment and say please be careful out there when your on the road driving....there was a Fatal Accident near where i live today sometime in the aftenoon i would suspect 3-4 pm 11-12-2012. the Accident involved a Car and a Motorcyle.....on telegraph road (fatal) the guy on the motor cycle passed away as a result.
Ryan Hartnett, was tragically killed earlier when riding a motorcycle when he was struck by a car, this just goes to show you........... BE CAREFUL! because you just never know when your time on this earth is up. i dont want to come on here and learn that one of my fellow Z people has passed because of something like this http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d7...22988020_n.jpg |
Woah man that sucks. Crazy how fast everything can jsut go array.

I don't really watch NASCAR, partly because I don't like seeing car running around a circle..
But most importantly I've seen physical contact between drivers.... :shakes head: There was a serious incident happened on the past weekend involving Jeff Gordon, Clint Bowyer and Joey Logano. The on-track crash led to a track-side fight between Gordon and Bowyer.... That incident was bad.... Gordon intentionally tap the tail of Bowyer's car thus ignite a series of collisions eventually victimized the innocent Logano and some others..... The incident sends a very bad message to the public already, especially to the young drivers.... :shakes head: To make things worse.... the race winner Kevin Harvick said the following: (Kevin Harvick joked when asked about the incident, saying NASCAR has a history for such clashes being part of what the sport is. "The sport was made on fights," said Harvick. "We should have more fights. I like fights. They're not always fun to be in. Sometimes you're on the wrong end. But fights are what made NASCAR what it is.") I can't believe a professional race car driver would say those non-sense..... :shakes head: :shakes head: One driver intentionally crash into another, then they start a fight trackside, then the race winner tells the public NASCAR is made for having fights and they should have more fights..... I don't watch NASCAR, and why would I................ :shakes head: :shakes head: |
Well.... Good morning to you too! Lol

Leave the fighting to the hockey players - they're the only ones who seem to know how to do it right... |
Good AM everyone :hello:

Mr. Alcheng,
Formula One is coming to Austin this weekend! Are you jealous? :stirthepot: The ATX track looks pretty bland compared to some of the other tracks out there, but those were built by unimaginably wealthy people. |
ok, who left me the rep with no name?

Back in the late-80's/early-90's I used to attend a bunch of races each year - both Talledega races, July 4 at Daytona, night race at Bristol, and Charlotte Fall race. The racing was hard, the intensity sincere, and the competitors real. Probably the best media coverage ever with Bob Jenkins, Ned Jarrett and Benny Parsons. As it's popularity grew, no doubt fueled by the implosion of Indy car racing with the creation of the IRL, it just got stupid. Ignorant (literally) announcers and "fan" shows, over exposure, and staged racing - green/white/checker, "debris" yellows, and "Boys have at it". In other wortds, the red necks run the sport. It's basically wrestling on wheels. Sad situation. Big Bill France Sr. is lying face down in his grave right now. I'm a Gordon fan and even attended his first Cup race at Atlanta in '92 where Richard Petty raced for the final time. Gordon has been a great champion, but it may be time for him to retire. As far as the events of last Sunday, he should have been suspended for at least five races. Yeah I know, that includes Daytona next year. Tough sh#t. When drivers become so distraught that they intentionally wreck another drver like what happened last weekend, or worse with Carl Edwards and Brad Keselowski two years ago, it's time to park their butts for a while. I was at Talledega in 1987 when Bobby Allison went into the catch fence. What if Brad Keselowski had gone into the crowd? GAME OVER for oval racing in the U.S. Don't believe me? Google LeMans 1955. If something remotely close to that were to happen today, it would kill oval racing. Mercedes withdrew from motor racing for 30 years because of the 1955 LeMans race. You think GM or Ford would remain if one of their cars took out a row of fans in the grandstand? Rant over! Quote:
