Hey Zman. Super sorry to hear about your fitment issues. As far as I know, Baer is the only other forum member that had problems with those hood struts. Hope you get everything worked out.

I'm not sure about the cold affecting detailing products, but I am interested to hear Ken's response (or anyone else with good info). Wax or clay is about the only things I could think would be affected, but I can't imagine it would be that negative unless maybe you tried to use them while they were incredibly cold or frozen.
