i love old school F1 like Senna. racing back then was was... phenominal..and it often makes me wonder joyfully " IF..... if i were allowed....COULD i be even half as good as Senna?... could a racing talent lurk under all of us? it just often will never get the chance to show itself? ......."

If.... only if..... *sigh*... lol i can only wish!

I like that top gear clip about Senna too.... until Hamilton showed up....

I don't dislike him but just don't understand why they put him within the session which is about Senna... :confused:

I would love to drive an F1 car. :( But most likely never will.

Because most likely he was the presumed "best" F1 driver at the time they filmed it, and wanted to show the best of Senna's era, and the best of the Current era. I guess trying to say Senna - 1990 = Hamilton - 2010

guess they wanted to put a person whom idolized him as a kid and dreamed of racing like him that actually made it into F1....... in a segament OF him, in HIS car. to show some sort of strong emotion , how much he effected alot of people.

thats why i think they put hamilton there:driving:

Senna --- :tup::tup::tup:

Hamilton --- :ugh2::ugh2:

I rather go with Schumacher than Hamilton, although I don't really like Schumacher either.

But during his time with Benetton, he really shows his talent with an average car, also the early years he joined Ferrari, he really shows his skills.

Agreed. I mean, I'd prolly feel the same way if they let me race one of Dale Earnhardt's stock cars.

When you think about what he was able to do, with the technology of the time, and that people now can't re-create his ability with "better" technology... It really shows just how much of his success was sheer talent and not advanced engineering or better cars... just a really good GD driver! :icon17:

:tup::iagree: its just like Hamilton said " i ... i can't even imagine what it was like"
because cars back then are ALOT different than they are now..... now you have all these digital devices on the cars and less Horsepower than back then to help you drive the car..... back when Senna reined king (:tup:) it was 1200 HP, push it to the limit and hang on for the ride. and the fact that he was able to do what he did with the 1 hand on the wheel.... amazing.... as you can tell im in awe....

I am too. When I watched the movie, it was at my house with my projector on a 109" 1080p screen and surround sound stereo. Cranked up so loud you felt like you were in the car with him. FAP FAP FAP FAP

Good morning fellow sleepy Z gang :yawn:

I'm headed to Houston this morning. But at least I get to come home this evening to a company Christmas party at Fleming's Steak House. It's hosted by my former company, but who am I to complain about free red meat? :yum:

onzedge 12-19-2012 05:49 AM

Good morning from Dallas again. Headed home.

It was shot with a point and shoot and I don't have the original file.
It's the wrong aspect ratio for the calendar pages, so I had to get creative in resizing it.
It was originally edited in Paint Shop Pro, so I decided to revisit it with better software and get the colours more true and control the exposure a little better.
Now it looks like this:
