That is what most say, when they are not saying "What's wrong with you?" or "Get away from me". :icon17:

The new gig is good so far. I jumped right in last week.

happytheman 11-04-2012 07:58 AM

Not to be a postwhore, but I seriously need to buy an updated iPad. I've still got the first gen and it crashes soooo often that it makes me sad panda.

Well, the company is much larger, more organized and stronger. I get to focus on the analysis and presales side of things and don't need to wear all the different hats I did when I was at CFBS. Other upsides at Edgewater/Fullscope are the depth of their teams, technical experience and we are one of the top Microsoft partners year after year.

Nicely done, good sir! It's always better to trade up!

I think so. It took me a long time to get up the gumption to make the move. It is night and day here.

In a good way though, it sounds. I tell you what, my last voluntary adjustment in employment came after twelve years on the same job and I couldn't have been happier with my decision. I had it comfy and good at my last job, but I'm continually challenged in my new position. I find it fresh and uplifting.

That is my story as well --I had more than 8 years at CFBS.

was watching this "Speed Science" on Velocity channel last night while laying down, and i gotta say i was pretty impressed. all about racing and the science behind it all.

they said on the program (and i found this pretty amazing for some reason)

"if a car travels 15 mph...... the amount of force pressing against the car in order to make it stop, its around 30 pounds....... a car traveling at 150 mph, has around 300 pounds of force against it trying to make the car come to a stop"

pretty cool when i really listened to what they said
