Nowhere does it say registration is required. Just have proof of purchase. So wife called customer support giving them some j-spanking. ;) now should be fixable under warranty.

All this for a 6 month old fridge.... :crying:

I just got done with tires and alignment. The tires are great - it's so nice to have that grip back  Alignment showed that my toe was out :icon14: In the future I will be using my free alignment more often (probably every oil change going forward since I've got 5 yr contract at NTB).

Pintsize725 12-10-2012 10:39 AM

Slept in, have to report for jury duty at 130. O.o Hope my ride comes through.

He says no hagdaz for 5-6 days until he has the parts. Wtf... a 6 month old fridge.

WTF it takes 5-6 days for the part to come in??? WTF is that....?? Maytag put a Steering Lock in their fridge nowadays????

I remember what happened to one of my friends regarding the freezer she got as a gift, which was bought from Costco...

almost a year the freezer died and they actually brought it back to Costco, without the receipt, the person there look up the purchase history of the person who bought the freezer, took the dead-freezer back gave them a full refund...

thus they use the refund money to buy a new one...

overall wasn't a horrific experience, but just disappointed with the outcome for today. :( but, things could've been worse. was $750 repair bill so far but now covered under warranty. guys' coming back later in the week to fix.

hi mr.alcheng- LOLed@ steeringlock. :rofl2:

wow, that's great service at costco. i mean, i dont expect a refund, but i do expect the 'factory techs' to know which units are under warranty or not.

the other thing that's bothering me is why a "factory authorized tech" does not carry compressors around for each brand. he said they are usually common amongst brands and capacity. so i was like 'then they da f- do you not have one with you?' he check his other tech's van inventory and at his warehouse... no stock of the one mine uses.

which probably means, it breaks a lot. :icon17: :eekdance:

On a humorous note, a few weeks ago someone accidentally posted an add for some Jordan's (shoes) in the Parts For Sale thread. It still hasn't been moved and someone posted, "where do I mount these on my car?" OP had a killer comeback: "on the pedals" :bowrofl: :bowrofl:
