Sickk!! You push 3 at a time?!

I have a lot of people telling me that the Cornelius Kegs are the way to go due to the ease of cleaning and tapping.

Have you run into any issues with losing pressure? Looks awesome to me! I highly recommend checking out MoreBeer, they have some killer brews at a great price. (Much cheaper than my local brew store)

I have a little bit of issue with pressure running 3 kegs. The problem is that I have 1 commercial keg, a Pauliner and 2 corny kegs. The corny kegs seems to like the lower pressure while the Pauliner likes to be a little higher CO2 pressure. But overall it is very good. I never did a bottle and priming thing so I don't really know how much more work it is compared to just kegging. IMO it has to be a lot easier due to less to clean, less to fill, less of everything actually. I think it is worth the investment if your really gonna get into the hobby. My setup cost a bit ~$800 for everything but i went big time with a big chest freezer and keg conversion kit.

For sizing a good size freezer (if your going new, if not get a craigslist one for free or little $$), cut out circles the size of the keg so you can place them inside and do a mock trial of how many kegs and how the kegs will fit in the freezer.

YOu must be single. I could not get away with that in my living room. Hard core. Love it.

Haha haven't updated this thread in forever! That is a sick setup. Can't go wrong with any of those hobbies. That's a lot of money in records!!! Right on!!

As of right now I am still working on my Sanke keg filled with some Homemade Winter Larger, spiced and a little rosemary. It's pretty good!

Talk around the state is strong about Yuengling beer coming up into Boston. Any bar you go to around here the past few months are really pushing it. Good change for us up here!

" That's a lot of money in records!!! Right on!! "

It sure is. IT's also a lot of records. I really don't spin much anymore. I only like to spin when I drink now a days. I don't drink much anymore since I'm trying to get "healthier" again. Don't mind the mess... hahahahaa

Anyhoo, some pics to add to the joy.

The semi filled booze shelf with snacks (this thing is usually this full with both booze and snacks). There are two botthe of 1800 one white and one reg yellow behind the Snof and Mil, then a big bottle of goose behind the JD.

I've got a Mr. Beer. :rofl2:

It actually makes pretty decent beer, surprisingly enough. I need to get another batch going. I've got a buddy who's seriously into homebrewing, but all he seems to make these days is Belgian stuff. It's great, but a man needs some variety.

I had that kit too. I didn't do too well with that thing because I tried to doctor it up from the get-go and it tasted like ****. The same thing happened when I did the vodka melon thing. I dumped 1/2 a bottle of Snof in a medium size melon. and put her in the fridge for 2 days. WORST MELON EVER!!! Every bite was like taking mean shot of vodka!! We ate 1/2 the melon then gave up.

As for the Belgian beer, that's good stuff! I like Heffer Wvissens. Love me my wheat beer! I understand your point on variety but I also understand his take too. Why do something you don't specifically like kind of deal. I need to find me a beer kit that taste fresh and clean like Becks.

Chuck33079 03-12-2014 11:45 AM

Yeah, the Mr. Beer works if you do exactly what they tell you, no more.
