No, it's okay coffee. They put crack in it, you're hooked and owe Tim Hortons all of your money after the first one.

wheee! 09-26-2012 11:31 AM

Simple, just move next to a Canadian Army base... guaranteed to have one there! lol

It was funny to see the lineups in KAF (Afghanistan) at the Timmies there. The Americans (and the Brits, Aussies, Germans etc) were addicted to it hardcore! Definitely the most popular place on base.

You ride motorcycles?? thats badass, I use to ride too.. I had 3 crotch rockets, by the grace of god, I never wrecked or laid one down, and after losing 3 close friends on bikes, I gave up riding.

Similar story here. I bought a 2007 Yamaha R6 in march 2012 and lost a friend a couple months later and then another time, me and another friend we were shredding some twisties when a 20yr old decided to make a U Turn into front of him and he slammed into the back of her Scion at 50mph. She admitted to the cop that she saw him too. :( the craziest part is that I was leading the pack and was about 3 seconds ahead of him. So If she got to that intersection 3 seconds earlier it would have been me into the back of her Scion. He suffered only a sliced off ring finger despite wearing gloves and full body gear. Needless to say his Daytona675 was totaled.

I sold my bike less than two months ago. Never laid it down at all.

I would still love to get another bike but not sure yet.

Bought my first holster for my Springfield xd9 sub compact
http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/...4B6CC91B34.jpg
http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/...4B69EA1672.jpg

After 6-7 weeks I finally received my concealed weapons license so I was eager to try it out and this was the best one I could find. It's ambidextrous because I'm a righty and I figured the small of my back would be the best place for it. It'll take some getting used to, that's for sure.

 nice!! Congrats on the new holster and the CCW! Just received my first renewal on my CCW!
I have a microfiber holster for my 38 revolver, also wear it at the small of my back, mine is very comfortable. I hardly know it's there.

This is why Americans scare me! lol

.... nobody in Canada carries, and nobody has easy access to handguns. Sure there are handguns, but only cops and criminals have them. Legal permits are only good to transport hand guns to a gun range and even then you need a route permit. Getting caught with a handgun in Canada is a reason for the cops to take extreme measures....

and no, I never feel unsafe in Canada without a gun. I am military and am used to being shot at (Afghanistan) and carrying my own weapon but have never felt the need for one in civilian life in Canada.

Just makes me think it is so easy for an argument to escalate in to something a lot worse if everyone has a gun...

However! Congrats on your CCW and a fine weapon and holster. May you never need it.

give me a minute to get my flame suit on... :p

Haha thanks guys! Stuff has just been getting crazy down here in Fort Myers, FL. I have no intentions of using it but ill be damned if somebody thinks they're going to rob/rape/kill me or family or girlfriend.

MJB 10-05-2012 08:12 PM

I just received my Salomon Quest GTX boots in the mail today! I read about these bad boys in the book 'No Easy Day'. If members of SEAL Team 6 sports these, I figure they got to be top of the line. I'm not in the military anymore but I still work with/train soldiers. I'm out in the field with them on a daily basis so these should be really good for the terrain and weather conditions I face. Plus I plan to use them as my hiking boots.

Dude, its getting crazy everywhere.. just an FYI, you can purchase pepper spray on eBay, I picked up two 5oz canisters of it.. although, I have a nice cache of firearms, I'd rather pepper spray someone first, then if the situatioin warrants, shoot last.
