That gun is way over the top! |
My first post in this thread (surprise!).
I have a Colt Combat Commander 70 Series (9mm)... 1978 model. Great gun but definitely way to big to be able to CC. Don't have my carry license but I'm thinking about getting it. I don't have the need/want to carry much, but I want to have the license and I want to have a weapon that is conceal-friendly. I went to a gun show yesterday with some friends to check out a few guns. I had the Springfield XD Subcompact in mind but found it was very bulky. Found I really liked the Sig P238 and P232 on the .380 side of things, but prefered the ergonomics and caliber of the Kahr P9/CW9 and PM9. Not ready to buy anything right now. I need to get back out to the range as I haven't been in years, but at least it was good to get a feel for the type of gun I'd be comfortable carrying concealed. Also hoping I can get the gf into it. She's not a fan of guns but at least she wants a taser... better than nothing! |

I always have questions and would like your opinion
I bought an AR-15 from CMMG in 6.8 spc. Do you believe this is a viable cartridge or will it die off? I bought a Mil Spec .45 from Springfield Armory a few years ago. It is parkerized which I was told was almost as good as stainless. But it scratches so easy I wonder how the fiinish can hold up and I am very easy and careful with my toys. Is this normal for parkerized finishes to scratch so easily? I also noted the .45 was made by Imbel in Brazil. Do you know if there have been any problems with the Imbel made .45s? I thought I was buying an American made product. Thanks for your help |
