I'm not on track to go there, but my job is extremely unpredictable. |
shot a Spring XDs today with the wife. Think we might go with it for her carry piece. Gun was surprisingly easy to handle for a thin, light .45
My only worry is the 5+1 capacity. It's not terrible but I'd rather have a couple more bullets. XD-S Compact 45ACP Pistol | Springfield Armory USA http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g3...o/4264bdd3.jpg |

At the same time, I'm willing to make short term sacrifices to accomplish long term goals. Living in Alabama wasn't high on my list. Colorado is nice, and I'd be happy to stay here, but I fully expect to average a new state every two years, until I'm at least 30. Easier for me to move without "cool" guns. |

Nice gun.
If you are looking for single stacks I'd also take a look at the Kahr P, CW, PM, and CM line. They are really nice and come in a variety of calibers. I have a CM9 that I carry when my G26 is too big. It has 6+1 capacity so I always carry a spare mag in my pocket. |
