Thanks guys

I spoke with my painter tonight. I have a meeting with him next week so to answer your question Mr.alcheng, no it won't be painted by the 3rd.

The body kit has easily been the worse transaction I've had for this car yet. I have built many show cars over the years and I know sh!t happens, but this has been brutal. I probably should have asked for a refund when I found out that they forgot to ship my items, which delayed everything even more. The real reason for the kit not being painted is because I'm still seeking closure for a manufacturing issue I have with the rear bumper... This has been going on since
the end of May, not counting manufacturing time. :shakes head:

Anyhow, if anyone is interested in more information I'll talk about it via PM.

Thanks for the compliments guys  I've had that plate going on 10+ years. I actually had a guy ask me if he could name his sail boat like my License plate. :ugh2:

MrAlchemy, wheels are on the way, probably still on the boat from Japan... Soon!

mmmm.... I think I will stick with the original/old one...

Get one that has a bottle opener on it. They come in handy  I run my automobile keys naked, I don't like the added weight of a key chain. :ugh2:

So I totally stole the ideas from BlueBat but used a local wrapping place for this. I'm happy with the results and at least if anything should go wrong, they can fix it same day.

Note: Yes my satin black paint on the front fangs is jacked up.

Went to Lowes today and picked up small pieces of sheetmetal to fab up some block-offs for the oil cooler for the winter months. Plan on taking the bumper off this weekend and fabbing the plates up so they are ready for the colder weather.

:iagree:Mine are pretty plain too-since the Z they mostly just ride in my purse or work tote....Z has no prob sensing them there...

Davey 08-23-2012 08:37 PM

Mine has a ring and the key to the side door, that's it. I don't like to carry much in my pockets.
