Mt Tam I am 10-08-2012 01:42 PM

On Saturday I had the Ferrari club invite me along on a drive. They came by my place and showed off their non Ferraris. It was bring something else from your stable. The MP4 12C Spyder looks like a 458 Spyder. Carerra RS, etc these guys have taste too.

The funny story came from a fellow who was spec-ing his 518 Porsche ($800,000), and the Owner kept him waiting 45 minutes while he chewed the fat with the service manager.

I will find out what this cost the dealership later.

So if one were to go with a supercharger, what should one know? I am clueless about this. I'm just getting a feel for the idea, as you all know, I don't have the $$ right now. :p

That's the only part I know. :icon17:

Yeah, they're REALLY expensive, but the power gained is insane.. but from the little bit that I know about it is, once you do it, you tend to have problems after the fact, thats why you REALLY need to find someone or some shop that knows what they're doing so you can minimize your potential problems at all cost.

One who claims to "drive like a granny" has no need for boost;)

My choice would be GTM though. As much of a Stillen fan boy as I am, i hear their kit isnt up to par. I was bout to order a supercharger kit at the begining of the year but ended up talking myself out of it in favor of the reliability and longevity of my precious Z

She likes to go fast on the highway, just not the twisties. But fine, take all the fun out of it.

I am well known for my negative attitude.
