Note the 2013 that's rolling right behind me! Minutes earlier I NARROWLY escaped being struck by a flying rake that fell out of a landscaping truck RIGHT NEXT TO ME! The 2013 had to straddle the rake and drive over it! :eek:

As of yesterday evening, I'm officially out of break-in at 1202 miles! :tup:

it took me over a year to get out of the break in.. LOLOLOL


in july when I picked up my car it only had ~2400 miles.. it now has 5xxx miles on her... lol all cuz I drove 2800 miles from Tampa to Minot :tup: Turbo Break in is complete...

No new pics yet, I'm waiting until Saturday to wash her. Wanted to make sure the vinyl and tint actually stuck. I noticed it coming up on the very inside edges of the front lights so I might need to look again and take it back.

I am doing alright, I suppose. I am prepping for a two-day onsite business process analysis gig tomorrow and Wednesday -- should be a couple of 12 hour days and it is far enough away that I am staying overnight. Hotels in Silicon Valley are very expensive mid-week and the company I am going to is tight, so it's fleabagville for me tomorrow night.

Morning everyone! This thread has officially become my morning read. Thanks everyone for the nice comments. Cool pic Happy! Crazy thing about the rake...for us at one point it was baseballs! We drove to this park by the beach and you kept hearing BAM, BAM, BAM! The kid was in batting practice mode and about every 4th attempt was a foul.:eek: Other than that and a fix-it ticket for my tint it was an awesome day! Was super-tired after all that driving so I pretty much passed out! BTW, you guys are welcome to the left coast anytime!
