Good Morning All! :hello:

Finally getting back into the groove after being out of town for way too long. I did get some Z time in this past weekend, and have big plans for this weekend.

I got my EVO-R black Z badges in that will replace my chrome Nissan hamburgers once I get finished with the mods. I'm going to change out the fake CF backing plate on the badge (required to hide the mounting notches) with my own custom-made body color matched plate. OCD? Of course, but it keeps me off the streets. :icon17:

Prayers go out to all the friends on the East Coast and inland affected by the storm. Having always lived on the Gulf Coast, I know it isn't fun. Hang-in there guys! :tiphat:

Hey Gurneyeagle! I'll be interested to see how you fashion up a new backing. I'm tempted to just wait for a color matched option.

The backing will be easy. Since we have the same color car, once I perfect the backing, it will be easy to whip a set up for you.

Ahh....the life of a guinea pig!

 love the mods you guys do to your cars but not sure how panic stricken I may feel seeing mine torn apart...have yet to experience that.:o

onzedge 10-30-2012 07:53 AM

So the name of my new work's parent company is Edgewater Technology (I am in the Fullscope group).

Edgewater

I wonder if they would mind a name change. I am thinking On Z Edgewater Technology.

You have the perfect garage for modding your car, and once you start working on it, you don't have time for the panic part.

Since the Z is a DD, I feel like my mods happen a lot slower than some other people on here. I am very thorough in my research because I can't afford to get halfway through an install and realize I'm missing a part or don't have a necessary tool.

Awesome!! An alternative would be for you to change your user name here to OnzEdgewater and convince them to pay you a regular bonus in addition to your salary as reimbursement for the advertising :rofl2:

This is so true! Plus working on the car is the fun part. I've never been panicked - maybe a little frustrated if something unexpected comes up, but that usually happens and should be expected :icon17:

better..well...... we lost power for an hour.. go figure.... we get through the screaming wind, and rain and nasty storm, only to have the power go out AFTER it passed, :rolls eyes: but its back on now anyway lol. minor flooding in basement, nothing like what we've experienced before which is good.

for my area, trees down, power outages, and clean up commences
