I am ready -- waiting for an HR call at 8 AM so I can go through the 3/4" stack of paperwork and get oriented. Then I am off and running -- three deals already on my plate for the next few weeks.

morning all. well the wind is here and the rain is pouring. we lost power for about an hour this morning but its back on now :tup: still got the generators ready to go, not knowing how long it was gonna be out.

U G L Y out! TPMS came on in the Civic this morning-cold dark and raining....ugh:shakes head: It always does this with the weather change. Stupid thing. Looks like the front drivers side tire is a bit low...makes me wanna say the F word....:p

the manual says it just has to be between high and low mark. my assumption is as long as you're not higher than the high mark, you're fine

when it gets really cold your tpms may come on until the tires warm up.. best way to prevent this.. just fill with nitrogen.

I usually stop it a little short of the recommended psi when I'm filling up cold tires in cold weather just for that reason. I can't fill up my tires with nitrogen at home, so I stopped doing that after my first tire change. I also had a lot of difficultly finding nearby shops that carry nitrogen, so that was another reason to switch. But for those that don't mind taking to the dealership, nitrogen is a good alternative.

power could go out at any moment at this wind speed and when i say Gusty i mean... GUSTS like whoa!. so far no trees down where i live BUT trees are down elsewhere road closings, no vehicles under a certain weight limit can be on the roads... (basically you got to be a tank on the road) and flooding

a few yes, but the pine forest next to our house, we had cut down for this exact reason. danger of trees on the house. and there are 2-3 other potential trees that could cause a problem but so far nothing.

I carved the guts out of three pumpkins so they are ready for Mrs.Force and Mini GaleForce to carve out faces out without all the icky stuff. Also measured up the last room in the basement that I'm finishing. I'm installing Roxul sound deadening insulation and resilient channel for the ceiling (it's my music room/man cave). Things should be nice and quiet when I'm done. I have to get this finished now so I don't have to worry about it once all the parts arrive for my car :tup:
