It's a pretty weird situation, but honestly, I really don't carry any sort of baggage with me. I was pretty much over it that afternoon after venting to my wife and a co-worker who was out of town with me. I then proceeded to put my $50 happy hour tab on the company card and forget about the whole matter for the rest of the week. Of course, my boss wasn't able to speak rationally for nearly a week (and he tells my other boss I'M the one who's immature :icon14:). Though I appreciated him actually apologizing to me even if it felt a little forced - I mean he's a car guy, too, and we hung out and did car stuff previously when we were co-workers at a previous firm. I'm just happy for him not to be my boss any more. He can do his own thing and that's fine, but he definitely has a different perspective on life that I cannot fathom.

I don't think I'll be doing stuff on my own because our financial situation is not secure enough for me to dump a regular salary since the consulting stuff can be pretty sporadic. But my other boss has an existing company that I can just switch over to, and it will pay me salary based on the work I currently have established. And then hopefully I can get some profit-sharing based on that revenue. We'll just have to see how it goes.

What are the opinions on Konig rims?

The Konig Rewind is a great rim -- in smaller sizes like 16". I do not know about other styles.

If you're going to replace your wheels, go with something that's at least forged. That way you're not stepping down in quality. :tup:

Took a couple of minutes this morning before rolling out to use Griots Waterless Wash on the front end so I could rid myself of those pesky Lovebugs. Also gave the front a nice thick coat of Meg's Tech Wax 2.0 to make removal of further bugs a snap.

When I got home, guess what? More Waterless Wash for the plethora of new bugs. :shakes head:
