If it makes you feel any better, when I popped onto Amazon to copy/paste the lens model for alcheng, I saw that a vendor is selling it for $604 today.
When I bought it Sunday night, it was $879. I'm a little ill right now. :mad:

Man.. that's really suck... is the $604 a brand new lens or gray-market???

Gray Market. But so was mine at $879. Considering it lists for like $999 at B&H, I thought I was doing pretty well. $604 is unheard of. That lens must be "very dark gray market" LOL!

LOL.... i wonder do they actually have it in stock...

Many of them just put a very low price to attract people to place the order, and when they were directed to the store, it will state "back-order" and they will keep your account info.... :ugh2:

OK answered my last post. It serves me right for not reading all the way through. I contemplated this lens, but went with the 24-70 2.8L for the extra aperture. I miss the extra 35mm your lens has but I just have to whip out the 20-200 2.8L when I need to (not very convenient all the time).

Anyway Mr LunaZ -- great lens you got there.
