Was I just stubborn?

So I bought my galaxy s3 outright to keep my unlimited data on verizon. I not only use the phone for web surfing and so on but I also have the hotspot enabled.

They told me I really do not need the unlimited and would be ok with 2 GB's. However that is now shared between the phone and your hotspot, so I have a feeling I may go over the limit. And when 4G comes to my area I have a feeling I will really be sucking up bandwidth.

So should I go back and use my upgrade to save 400 bucks and get rid of my unlimited data, or keep it?

I say keep the unlimited data. You never know when you'll need it and if you can afford it now, why not.

Keep the unlimited data for now.
It will be gone in a couple years anyway, Verizon already said even those who are grandfathered in, I am also, will auto lose it soon.

I'm afraid you may not be able to reclaim a upgrade becuase as it happened to me Verizon counts a new phone bought either outright or from another souce as an upgrade in which you lose the upgrade option. This happened to me already when my son had an upgrade option left of his droid and I gave him my bionic and I later decided to use his upgrade option for the galaxy s3? He no longer had the upgrade option but was pushed back a year and a half  Fukers

end of rant!

Keep the unlimited like it has been suggested

Actually I have checked, my upgrade is still there. This is not thee first phone I have bought outright, my incredible had a cracked screen and I was not due for an upgrade for another year. So I bought a charge out right.

The upgrade is still there for me to use.

i would keep the unlimited data, especially if you are going to be using it for a hotspot
