:iagree: It's not the kid, it the parents. They let the kid get his way for too long, a radical change isn't easily accepted.

Wait a minute, you guys understand that some stranger came into his house and cleaned out all his favorite foods, right? The kid doesn't understand the situation the way we adults do. All he sees is some mean adult stranger coming in and taking over and tossing all his junk food. I don't blame him for flipping out.
