Really just laughed outloud about this.

It irks me when people search for stuff they already know about. Eg. Google search for "youtube." THEN click the link and search through the YouTube interface. Don't even think about using the search engine (for youtube) that's integrated into Google's search results.

BTW, tip for anyone who doesn't know:

Let's say you want to go to "the370z.com"...

In the address bar, type "the370z" then hit CTRL+Enter.

It will automatically fill in the "www." (which due to stupid people that don't know how to set up apache/.htaccess on their servers is still sometimes necessary) and the ".com" then go to the address.

There's also a shortcut for ".net" but I haven't cared enough to know it off hand, I just do it on accident sometimes.

Actually I'm a software programmer. Guess what, i actually type "www" in the address bar. Doesn't mean i'm stupid. just feel like that way.

He's not talking about typing in www as being stupid. That was just a tip for shortcutting to sites you frequent. He thinks the stupid people are the ones that type in something like youtube into the google box on firefox and then click the link that shows up at the top of the search results.
