Thank you guys. One of the best forums. Will miss you.

I don't post here everyday, but I lurked, and browsed, and even did a hatchback swap with another member here 3 years ago. I had a great time.

Sold my Z two weeks ago and got an FRS. I will never forget the smile the Z gave me for the last 3 years. It was an excellent car. I also can't convey the feeling the FRS has given me. I am happy, just wanted to say goodbye, and let you guys know what a special place this is. Will be back for the gentlemens club ahaha

How do you like the frs?

Z to frs seems like a surprising move to me.

shadoquad 06-14-2012 12:58 PM

I am so happy with it. It has exceeded all expectations. It reminds me of when I was 17 and first sat in my friends RX7. I thought to myself **** this feels different. I got that same feeling. I'm not talking about power, I am talking about the feel. It drives like a dream. The power will be missed, but to be honest I haven't missed it that much yet. The car is on rails, it feels very light and nimble. Like I said the Z gave me a sense of arrogance on the road, that I liked. I will never knock the car it was fun.

Its not so much leaving, its more like I know I probably wont be spending so much time here lurking. Because I don't post a lot, I wanted to thank everyone who helped me even though you have no idea you did.

You will probably find out that the FRS forums are all full of douchenozzles and you will need to come back here and start the FRS/BRZ section of the 370Z/Mustang/FRS/BRZ forum. :D

I concur

I saw one on the road the other day and for a split second was intrigued. Nice looking car. Then after I looked it over for a few short seconds, it was over. It is definely a downgrade from the Z34...

Yeah I just don't feel that way. Having spent the last two weeks with it, It just doesn't seem like I have downgraded. But I don't want to turn this into a 370z vs FRS thread. For now they are very different.

As long as you're happy with it, it's all good. I test drove one last week... Wasn't my cup of tea, but I can see why people are interested in them.

Congratulations man... the FRS seems like a special car. Enjoy

axmea? 06-15-2012 12:32 AM

The FRS is a nice car. Congratulations. Not a whole lot on the road for now but I know there will be at some point.

Mannysrt8 06-15-2012 01:26 AM

i dont think we can compare the 2 cars, however nice car hope you enjoy it

LakeShow 06-15-2012 01:56 AM

Congrats! Any reason you didn't go with the BRZ, from what I've read it is supposed to be te slightly sportier of the two with more options.

If I had the two in front of me and could choose one, it would be the BRZ, bu tI had two things I had to consider. 1. The allocation of the BRZ is sketchy at best. 2. My uncle works for Scion, and I knew he would take care of me and guarantee me a car.

Hey, not bad. Keeping it in the family and probably getting a great deal.

Ubetit 06-15-2012 06:40 PM

I'd have to drive one to reserve judgement but coming from an S2000 to a 2011 370Z, I don't think i could go back to the lack of torque. Happy motoring though

red6spd 06-15-2012 06:46 PM

Congrats on the new car. The aftermarket world for that car is going to be endless.
