used. You can't get a Z06 new for 50 grand.

It's an '07, in great shape, 14k miles, and it's going for 48,900. I got them down to 47k, but I can't buy unless it's 45k.

I can't blame them for asking that much. If the car was in worse shape, I'd have a better bargaining position. But as it is, it's just the deal that got away lol

That's a really good idea, but I think I'm just gonna wait until November/December, when it's cold. Not as many people shop for sports cars in that weather, and they'll have the looming prospect of paying taxes on it for another year.

They'll be more amenable.

Try doing a little searching and seeing if you can find some lower priced ones similar and as it sits longer you can use that plus other prices.

that's how i bought my truck (granted, different situation since i was trading in my old truck and buying a new one). i called and said i want "$X" for my old truck and i'm paying "$XX" for a frontier, this color, these options... call me back if we have a deal *click*. they called me back the next day and said they had one waiting for me. i walked in, signed the papers, they drove my old truck briefly (thank god, OD gear was going out lol) and shook hands and i drove off with my new frontier. i was there for maybe 15 minutes at the most
