Lets bow our heads for a moment of Silence.

Last night I traded in my Z on my wife's new Chevy traverse. I am going to Turkey for a year and wanted her to have a reliable SUV.

If I come back to the states after Turkey I will be getting a new car from the overseas dealers.

If I stay overseas in Europe then I will look for a local sports car.

SmoothZ 05-08-2013 08:39 AM

NOOOoooo!!! You sold the Z? Okay, that's cool. We're all friends here.

Here is the link to my car. I think I did good. Trade in value was $28k and they are asking just over $29k.

Why are they talking about it as if it's a roadster??

It's probably a generic description the copy/pasted from somewhere else without putting any thought into it.

Lemers 05-08-2013 05:22 PM

Yeah, they didn't do a good edit job. At least it had pictures.

They removed the stillen license plate bracket.

i emailed a seller (at a dealership no less) about a car asking for maintenance history, asking if specific things had been fixed, etc. i got a reply "please see our website blahblahblah.com more info tere clean car! pleas call!" and was like :wtf2:

p.s. their website had the exact same blurb as the autotrader listing which didn't answer my questions.

:iagree:

They were not stripped of rank. They were disqualified to launch nuclear missiles. The AF can separate, retrain, or put them in a new career field.

SmoothZ 05-10-2013 06:04 PM

Ah, correction. My bad. The media made it sound like they were stripped.

So do I, but I didn't want to have to wait a year and then pay MSRP.

I can drive a c6 z06 for a few years and then trade if I want to.

Lemers 05-11-2013 11:10 AM

True. I can't get one at all for another 8 yrs and 3 months. So C10?

17 in one wing or squadron sounds like a leadership problem to me. They weren't being properly trained at their job.

HKYStormFront 05-11-2013 11:30 PM

performance wise i'm sure the c7's will do well, however, i really feel they are rip offs of other cars. say what you will about the C5 and especially the C6, they don't really look like anything else on the road really. i guess the C6's headlights look a bit ferrari 360ish but the rest is all pure vette design themes. however, the C7 looks like pieces of several cars cobbled together. i say now the C7 will not hold it's value and look very dated very quickly. how the market responds to the C7 could have drastic repercussions on the values of C6's imo
