lolz no... that's the problem. we get the project approved. buy all the crap using the old-as-the-hills P.O. system, do the project, then a month later the say "hey, where can we find the money for this thing?" ugh... stupidity :rolleyes:

i sure am glad our military is (generally) run better than the rest of the government. seems like whenever there is a legit problem, they tend to fix it. might take a little while but they usually get it ironed out. our legislative system however...

The Osprey program highlighted a problem in the defense department's acquisition program. The guy in charge of the program's career depended on the success of the osprey so he kept passing it. Thing went wrong when units in the marines started to test it the the plane fell out of the sky.

There was a big investigation and that man in charge was fired and charges brought against him. The Osprey was grounded while the problems were fixed. Now it's a great air frame.
