So I found a GT500 in stock at a dealer within an hour of we're I live. When I called about it I was told that that owner had it in Florida and was using it as his personal vehicle. He even turned down $10k over MSRP for it.

So I ask myself, "why would he just do the sale paperwork and take it out of stock on the Internet?".

Could it be that he doesn't want to register the car and pay taxes? If he did he wouldn't be able to sell it as new later, either.

What a fraud.

No Boss. Everytine I think about a GT or Boss I can't help but think what would I do if I find a GT500 later.

Every now and then, a thread pops up where someone is asking how a "new" car at the dealership has something like, 1200 miles on it ... and there we go.

Lemers 08-18-2012 05:41 PM

It's a fraud to me because it's going to be sold as new later. It has been used as a personal vehicle if it was registered or not.

:iagree: there should be a law, or something, if a car has over say 2k miles on it, its used

Lemers 08-18-2012 06:16 PM

I honestly think a car is used if its used as a tester, for a program, a loaner, or the dealers personal car it shouldn't be able to be sold as "new".
