that's a nice monitor, my bro has it.....very nice picture

Does that monitor have the "glossy" finish on the screen?
I think the glossy screens look way better than the matte finish LCD's. (The actual viewing area not the trim/frame part)

Pretty sweet deal for sure. Nogood, can you comment on how it looks in person? The specs look to be some of the best for monitors, but I'm wondering how it all comes together before making an impulse buy such as this one. Is there noticable ghosting? How are the black levels?

the plastic around the screen has a glossy finish but the screen itself, no.

the screen is not flush with the plastic frame, it's 1/4 inch sunk in.

This is a quality screen. Ghosting is minimal on 5ms displays, however if you are a hard-core gamer that wants the fastest refresh possible then you should wait and get one of the 120Hz displays when the price drops. That said, I play a few games on mine and I don't have an issue.

Thats a great price on a good display I went with a Asus 24' 2ms 1080P because I wanted HDMI but the Samsung was a close second.

It supports HDCP so you can use a HDMI to DVI adapter.
