I don't use the speaker much, so I haven't noticed. I just kept fumbling between trying to set the volume for msgs, versus the phone, versus the games and other ****. They have at least 4 different places to adjust the volume settings on this fuckin thing :icon17:

Well I just set each one to max. I feel like it's not as loud as I'd like when it rings, especially when it's in my pocket.

i Believe there is even a setting to let it ring louder when it's in your pocket, IIRC

I remember that being on my old phone, but I couldn't find it on the S3.

I have to constantly change my volume settings throughout the day for my job and home ... So i need something easy. Maybe I'm just technology crippled, but changing the phone volume settings was like programming a vcr.

:iagree:

Anyone know where that setting is? I just leave mine on vibrate at work and max volume anywhere else, keeping it simple.

Yeah, instead of going to preferences and phone sound controls, actually open up the phone, press whatever that button is the lower left hand corner, press call settings, and it's about halfway down.

I wish the phone's speaker was louder, but other than that it's great sound wise.

This is one of my complaints as well, my Charge could be very loud including the incoming message yelling DROID.

I downloaded the same notification sound on the Galaxy and it is so quiet.

I'm actually annoyed at how loud my notifications are. The lowest setting is still too noisy for an office environment.

Any of you guys use that APP "shush"? I think its the best app far as when your in a movie, church, or sleeping... you can set it to silence and at a certain time it turns it back up. I Use this all the time when im sleeping or in a movie.
