if this is shenanigans, than they were stupid not to use bricks.
but if it's real, don't laugh because the Z's rims can be stolen too.....and most likely they will be...there are numerous threads about the g37 wheels being stolen.
the burglar only needs the key lock and all the G35, G37, 350z & 370z's wheels can be taken easily.

one thief lined up all the lugs and the lock lugs on the person's door way and left half the car on bricks.....

One word . . . GARAGE.

nogoodname 06-01-2009 12:10 PM

Okay, sorry. One word . . . McGard

shabarivas 06-01-2009 03:44 PM

^ haha try both McGard + Garage :p hahaha I def use the spline drive lugs on all my wheels :)

This guy did have a garage. He explains it in there somewhere. Apparently he left the remote somewhere.

I would be PISSED.

MightyBobo 06-02-2009 06:34 PM

Its only the V6, its ok. Unless he actually sprung for the nicer wheels...which I doubt.

man when the trunk monkey was reading in the trunk i started laughing so hard then when he black jacked that dude on the back of the head i laughed even more, then when i seen him yanking on the dude to pull him out i noticed they was on a bridge and i was almost crying from laughter.

It does suck, but I wouldn't be pissed. Any damage can be fixed by a competent shop, and as alluded to earlier, OEM wheels are expensive at list price. I bet he gets 600 per wheel and 200 per tire to replace them. You can do a lot with that.

CBRich 06-03-2009 10:44 AM

That's true. This guy will probably get over three grand just for wheels and tires. And you can definitely get some good custom wheels for that price.

ouch

BanningZ 06-19-2009 06:17 PM

They couldn't get some dummy spares first? Maybe the dummy spares wont clear the brakes.

That just looks painful to watch.

rofl, I was thinking about it sliding around on the flatbed as they drove around.

nogoodname 06-19-2009 06:42 PM

they will anchor the car down...lol....sandwich the rollers to the flatbed

i've heard of some super tricky things to tow cars that have the handbrake on...lol

this one tower had a super slik mat.....puts it under the tire and up it goes onto the flat bed...no screeching....dunno why i'm telling this
