They couldn't get some dummy spares first? Maybe the dummy spares wont clear the brakes.

That just looks painful to watch.

rofl, I was thinking about it sliding around on the flatbed as they drove around.

nogoodname 06-19-2009 06:42 PM

they will anchor the car down...lol....sandwich the rollers to the flatbed

i've heard of some super tricky things to tow cars that have the handbrake on...lol

this one tower had a super slik mat.....puts it under the tire and up it goes onto the flat bed...no screeching....dunno why i'm telling this

There is a guy on the 350 board IN MY LOCAL AREA that had his Z stripped while he was sleeping...

hxxp://my350z.com/forum/mid-atlantic/408509-my-car-was-stripped-in-my-driveway-last-night.html

This has freaked me the hell out.

I don't want to cross post from that forum so copy and paste that in your browser and replace the two x's in hxxp to http.

Holy ish!

It seems like it would take a crazy long time to do that. Look at all these people complaining about having to remove the front bumper to install those G3s.

zZSportZz 06-20-2009 10:27 PM

If you read the post, his dog never barked and not to mention his son was up until like 3am playing video games in the basement with a window like three feet from the car - and he never noticed. Must have been a band of ninjas.

frost 06-20-2009 10:30 PM

Eh, he paid someone to do it. Wanted some nice aftermarket parts. I kid, I kid. But no really, he did. Just kidding.

i know huh....i suspect G3 installers.... :bowrofl: :bowrofl:

but it's fishy or the thieves were really silk, and if they were...should have taken the car and strip it to the bones completely somewhere

Man the brakes on the V6 Camaro are puny. 60-0 must be like taking a trip from earth to pluto.
