Good for you, that's the only way it works...and if she still gives you grief? time for a new girl :stirthepot

The day I brought my Z home all the dad's in my neighborhood came over for a peak. The first thing out of every single one of their mouths was "better enjoy it before you get married and have kids, cause then you're going to have to get rid of this thing." I must looked at them and responded "I don't think so, I'm not whiped like you guys." :rofl2:

We're not whipped, just afraid of alimony, child support and bad credit! Oh, and of course losing our Z's.

Hey man, you have to do what you have to do. At least you get to touch it now and then! Props!

I like the way you threw it in at the end....."my Z". Keep telling yourself that bro, eventually...it will be yours!

This thread is about to get X rated!

keb370z 01-10-2012 10:17 AM

I must be living in an alternate dimension. I had to talk my husband into my Z. The first test drive, he said, "Not my thing." I took the brochure home and left it on the kitchen counter. He happened to pick it up one day and read the specs, all the technical stuff. Then he was sold. Second test drive I let him drive. The end.

And this was just months after our second child was born. Why do people (girlfriends/wives) use that excuse? You only need one family car! And no it doesn't have to be a minivan. A Mazdaspeed3 works out great.

Don't let her hear you say that. Especially if she takes care of your children and/or cleans your house and/or cooks your meals. :stirthepot: ;)

It's actually the one that pays for it or there will be no cradle.
You guys gotta learn that women have power when they have money if you control how much and when that money gets distributed then you rule.

Dzel 01-10-2012 09:29 PM

:happydance: I used these five steps myself... Well mostly anyway:tup:

Keep telling yourself that--it's a good way to think.

It's to her advantage to keep you complacent. :tiphat:

Baer383 01-11-2012 09:37 AM

My wife said she didn't want to work any more so we sat down I told her what the rules were and she is cool with it we've been together for 16 years and she gets pretty much anything she wants as long as I'm happy.

OMG! Would you guys get a room already? :bowrofl:

Everyone should be able to do what they want, just because your married doesn't mean you shoud lose the right to be you and enjoy life.

:twocents: And no, I'd never rely on a anyone financially because you DO lose the power and control of your own life. Hopefully the moneymaker isn't a controlling ***, but that would a persons own fault for setting their life up that way in the first place. So there! :owned: hahaha

As long as you don't get to the stage where the judge decides where the money goes

I'm glad you decided to match your clothes to your Z in this pic, because when couples match that's just plain weird. lol
