I stopped reading at warp drive.

Well I would be lying if I told you I was not unhappy with these first responses.

Of course this post just intended as a story.....just like the previous one about the Z which so many enjoyed. I thought I made that clear.

Well I have been writing and publishing things for years and sometimes editors and readers like things and sometimes they don't. Its something you learn to live with..:(

Guess the previous two stories went over well but not so well for this one..

Oh well..that's life..

And yes..for those that ask...a story about a car with "warp drive" is a fantasy..:)

well, i was looking that the post on my droidx and when i saw all text edge of screen to the other edge i thought my droid turn into a e-book reader. :icon17:

for those with a warped imagination, it was a fun read lol.

Anyway, you failed to ask the salesman about the dilithium crystal consumption issue.

LOL if a sales guy said that to me I would have punched him in the face.

I enjoyed the read! Interesting concept, and nice revenge! It was long, but that doesn't bother me in the least. Don't let any of the other posts deter you.

I actually had a salesman ask me if I wanted to look at the cars or just go ahead and "crank some numbers". What an idiot. We drove to a neighboring dealership and bought our Xterra from there.

It's not a "joke post" in the sense of trying to fool someone..its a sci fi story about our Z cars in the distant future...intended to entertain and, hopefully, provide a few laughs..:)

The first part of the story where you ask about the optional "feature" reminded me of the movie Total Recall when Arnold. S. wants to visit Mars. . .

I think the story would be better if you travelled to different countries and then got stuck in one of them where the car wouldn't turn on, etc... something like this. Where you have a real crisis.

I made it one paragraph past that...

other story was better imo.

PS-everyone knows in order to fix a warp drive, you need a wookie.

Well good to get feedback..the other story was a bit on the dark side.,.this was something intended to be lighter.. I could write something really really black and on the dark side . but I did not think it would go over..
