R/C anyone? This car is sick!

 0-100 under 5 sec, 0-60 under 3 sec. This would be a blast! One of the nicest R/C cars I have seen. 100mph and tunable from the controller by plugging in your iPhone. On an R/C! :driving:

I've been out of R/C's for a while, so excuse me if this doesn't impress you.:icon23:

That's awesome. I have no idea how people drive those, though. I'd need to have a remote video feed and a steering wheel and pedals. :D

Red__Zed 12-02-2011 10:30 AM

Costs more than my first car did

For the price, I'd rather buy a TV and drive my own car.

ClemsonWill 12-02-2011 10:41 AM

I like it!

That's the MSRP. And I don't think it's that bad when you consider all that it comes with. Upgraded radio, 2 lipo batteries, etc. Many people spend way more than that upgrading their revos.

:iagree:High end, quality R/C equipment is NOT cheap. $1100 is not a bad price for what you are getting. Hell, the real turbine engines that go in the high end jet models, like 19' wingspan, cost $2500-$3500 each. And some of those remotes are over $1k.

b1adesofcha0s 12-02-2011 12:25 PM

That's pretty cool

TreeSemdyZee 12-02-2011 12:42 PM

Crap! I expected it to be gas-powered.
OK. Who's gonna get me this for Christmas? I been real good. :p

Yep I have the r/c bug just as bad as I do with car mods. My r/c rock crawler probably has 800 in it not counting the batteries. My short course truck isn't far behind that either.

Wow!! pretty cool pricey but cool :)

MJB 12-02-2011 06:04 PM

Nice car, but not a fan of electrics. Nitro ftw

USMCram 12-02-2011 10:10 PM

i <3 Nitro. I'm all about air craft. Have a p-51, and a couple of trainers. With all the crap I have for it? For the 3 planes, I'm looking at at least 4-5 grand total....

And it would end up like this...

I was into R/C helis. Had to stop flying when I got the Z...heli money vs. car paymens and mod money. The helis have been sitting around in the basement for a couple of years now...would love to get back into it (scale-type flying, not 3D).

Alchemy 12-02-2011 10:43 PM

That thing is SICK!!!!!! Im currently into RC rock climbers. Pic of my current rig....

I would love to try 3d flying..I saw a demonstration from the futaba team down at the field some time back, it was absolutely amazing. I want to build a large scale warbird first though ;)

I have a 0.50 scale Airwolf fuse waiting to be outfitted by my Trex 600E. I've got the retractable landing gears with servo delays installed already (looks more realistic). There are some very impressive scale models out there. You can spend hours on Youtube watching videos of people with awesome scale builds as well as 3D flights. 3D was never my thing...I prefer "realistic" flight more, as well as aerial photography.

I do have a Traxxas E-Revo as well. That is fun in all terrain, even in the winter time.

What rig you running?? I run an ax10 and I know a whole slew of guys/friends that run scx10 scale trucks.

USMCram 12-02-2011 11:24 PM
