Well still, I haven't signed anything other than an application, and haven't discussed benefits/wage so until I know that info, I'm not there yet.

If you have filled an I9 and W4 form, then you're technically employed

that just means your benefits and wages have yet to be agreed upon but if I9 and W4 are in, you're good :D

HKYStormFront 02-07-2012 08:37 PM

I would say rather, I have the opportunity to demonstrate my ability. And if they like me, then I have the job. There's still plenty of time for them to say no. Plus I'm gonna tell him about that 6 month thing you told me where if they don't think I can do that, to be up front with me.

Well, my guess is they'll have you fill out them form tomorrow (at least the tax and employment forms, even if you're a temp/contract/commision only)

shadoquad 02-07-2012 08:44 PM

I didn't know they made fluffers fill out tax forms.

HKYStormFront 02-07-2012 08:44 PM

yea. still, at this point, anything's better than nothing right? if you go in tomorrow with a negative attitude i guarantee it's not going to work. you need to walk in that place like you are going to be the best salesman they've ever had in 2 weeks. not because you vulture sales away from other salesmen but because you know more about the product and help people make the most educated decision when it comes to their next car purchase. there is a night and day difference between those two points of view and it will be clear to the manager which side of that fence you fall on

I COMPLETELY agree with you on this one. Good attitude, helpful over pushy :)

Pat, you're so good to him :icon17:

I'm not signing anything till I know Everything beforehand and have a day or two to think it over. I've already signed my soul away, and signed my life away for 8 years. I'm not taking it lightly.

I know dude, I'm not saying anything about having a negative attitude, nor did I ever. I'm simply saying I'm Not hired yet. Of course I'm going in it with the attitude of being the best that I can be. That's what I do. I have to, it's part of what makes me me. I strive and set the bar higher than anyone else, and will go farther than anyone else for what I want.
