During the order process we agreed to a great price, including window tint and clear bra. However, I found another location to apply the clear bra, tint, and buff the car all in one sitting for ALOT cheaper.

I contacted my salesman at Groove Suburu, to ask if would be possible to not clear bra/Tint the car, and instead install the SPT exhaust, since the difference of the clear bra/tint would match my USAA price of the SPT exhaust around 800$. I was told "insert dealer comments here"

I am extremely wary now of this whole thing and Subaru. Since the car is not here, and not midway through the install proccess I don't see this being an issue.

I'm not getting a good vibe from the salesperson(name him here) or the dealership.

I understand I cancelled my WRX wagon order after two weeks, but I am now ordering a more expensive vehicle!!!
.

maybe something like this?

k20z3 05-02-2012 10:30 PM

"Clint,
There is still no vin # assigned to this car all I have is a von # and based off my experience with Subaru we will not get a vin # until 3 weeks before we get delivery of the car so that could take 2 months from now. Please be patient and we will keep you informed as the time goes your von # is still valid at and as far as details on the clear bra and tint we will work the details when we get closer to the car arrival.
Respectfully,"

I said this to GM

Hey Art,

I know you're busy but I wanted to express myself. As a father, I hope you can relate to me. My father isn't helping me with this, as he has helped me in the past, he feels obligated too, but I don't want/need his help. I want to show him the young man I am in retrospect and how I handled everything on my own. As we discussed you have kids and you can hopefully see where I'm coming from. I trust you and your respectfulness throughout this whole process. Austin and I spoke today and I felt it could of been handled in a better way. I understand that that originally, I had ordered a WRX, but decided that, if i was going to spend 6 years paying for something, it ought to be something I really wanted, which in terms lead me to my 2012 limited STI. I asked to have the order for the WRX cancelled and I then placed a new order on the 2012 STi Limited. After this, I felt that you guys were annoyed with me as a customer. I asked my SOA representative if this causes delays in your system, she stated to me that this should not effect you. But this is what I'd rather do.

During the order process we agreed to a great price, including window tint and clear bra. However, as I've mentioned, I found another location to apply the clear bra, tint, and buff the car all in one sitting for ALOT cheaper. I contacted my salesman, to ask if would be possible to not clear bra/Tint the car, and instead install the SPT exhaust, since the difference of the clear bra/tint would match my USAA price of the SPT exhaust around 800$. I was told "Clint we will not be doing anything until the car arrives. Please stop trying to change the deal as it progresses. We will take care of any questions or concerns you have WHEN the vehicle arrives. Until then please let us do our jobs." I understand I cancelled my WRX wagon order after two weeks, but I am now ordering a more expensive vehicle. I am wary how I've been treated and hope that my vehicle will arrive safely, my thoughts and thoughts expressed by the SOA rep, was since the car is not here, and not midway through the install proccess I didn't see this being an issue. If not, then we will cancel the tint/clear bra and the price difference will be adjusted accordingly.

Sincerely and respectfully,

Clint

I think you're stressing out over something that shouldn't be such a big deal. Like I get that it's your first car and you want it to be perfect. Just make sure your message to the dealership is concise as to what you're expecting from them and emphasize their accountability to make sure your vehicle arrives exactly the way you requested it.

But I made spelling errors;

This is what I sent, in addition to what Tim wrote for me I sent that to SOA - Dealer services and my SOA rep.

Should I send dealer anything else?

I want them to add the exhaust instead of tint and they keep telling me to wait till car gets here. I don't want them driving the car excessively etc. or breaking it keying it scratching it etc.:icon14::icon14::icon14::icon14::icon14:

Should be sufficient for now and yah there were a couple of spelling errors but no biggy.

Once they respond, make sure you let them know that you'll be expecting them to contact you as soon as the vehicle lands on US soil lol so that there aren't any confusion as to what's supposed to go on the car, etc.

I don't know what to do Im really worried others are like go to another dealer but they are done taking orders for 2012 as of 4/24.

I just want them to either deduct the cost or add my ******* exhaust. Ive reached out to the dealer services plus subaru of america rep.

So I don't know what to do? .......... :( this sucks.

sexZness 05-03-2012 01:17 AM

Just sit tight until the car gets to the US, THEN you start pushing the dealership to change things up. It's kinda pointless to worry about it now since they can't do anything about it, either.

Hope you can get some sleep :hello: TTY tomorrow

this looks like a much different story to me. I was waiting for an update from YOU. Did I ever receive one? NO. Did I get a tracking# NO. was everything sent in a one proper box and wrapped properly? NO Did I ever receive door tags? NO. Maybe if you spelt my name correctly and my street adress this wouldnt of happened since when I called fedex they had nothing for my name. Did you send it to "Blacke Rossin" again? few letters off there bud.

Tracking number was sent on 3rd April, please check your pm, kick plates and replacement were sent together but shipped separately.

Your request was forwarded to them and as I said yesterday you didn't come back for almost three weeks so we assumed you have received and managed it/

Check how many times Fedex tried to deliver the item. three times they came to you and then hold the package as per your request for weeks. You can call now again and ask them for the details for this tracking number. we used the same name and address as per last shipment, have the picture of the label which we filled, you want can send you picture as well

Tracking no.: 510493940972

Claim is always filed at the receiving end.

We accepted before and send replacement within the due time, but cant take the responsibility if fedex cant trace or contact you.

you can make a big fuss out of it if you want I really wont mind, we send the shipment two items were damaged and we sent those again, after being not delivered (because of your fault) a month later, they were sent back, and still we are the one who are at the wrong side. I have sent you the pm before posting here, will prefer to issue the refund as don't want to send the items again and take the blame and beating for nothing.
